- Your connection
When you wish to be connected to the municipal mains
Municipal water and wastewater means getting your drinking water from one of the municipality´s water purification plants and that your wastewater is cleaned at a treatment plant belonging to the municipality. Upon connection to municipal water and wastewater you must complete the Service Application form Servisanmälan
and send it to Borås Energi och Miljö, Customer Centre, Box 1713, 501 17 Borås.

There is information in the General Regulations for the use of Borås City Public Water and Wastewater Plants (ABVA — Allmänna Bestämmelser för användandet av Borås stads allmänna Vatten- och Avloppsanläggning) regarding what is applicable e.g. to connections.
There is information for residents outside built-up areas regarding private drains (eget avlopp) and wells (egen brunn) at the Environmental Office website
